What exactly is a Low Speed Vehicle?
Under Florida law, a Low Speed Vehicle is a four-wheeled vehicle with a top speed over 20 mph but not more than 25 mph. Once titled and registered as an LSV, it can be legally driven on public roads posted at 35 mph or less.
Can any golf cart be converted?
Most can. Your cart needs a top speed between 20 and 25 mph and a gross vehicle weight under 3,000 lbs. Carts that top out under 20 mph can often be adjusted. Our checker tells you in two minutes.
How long does it take?
Most registrations are completed in one to three weeks.
Do I need insurance?
Yes. Florida requires $10,000 in Personal Injury Protection and $10,000 in Property Damage Liability, and it has to be active before your LSV can be registered. We'll tell you exactly what to ask your agent for.
What if my cart is missing equipment?
We'll tell you precisely what's missing and quote the parts and installation before you commit to anything. You can also buy the parts from us and fit them yourself.
Do you work outside your local area?
Yes. We handle registrations in all 67 Florida counties.
What happens if the state rejects my package?
We fix it and refile at no additional cost. If we can't get your cart registered, your service fee is refunded.
