Make Your Club Car Street Legal in Florida
Club Car is the second most common platform we register in Florida and one of the easier ones to bring into compliance. Parts availability is excellent statewide and shops know the wiring. As with every brand, factory equipment varies by model year and by how the cart was optioned when it was sold, so the cart in your driveway is the only thing worth checking.
Converting a Club Car
Club Car's Onward line is frequently sold with a lighting package that covers part of the list but rarely all of it, and the older Precedent and DS carts almost always need work. The aluminium frame and the way Club Car routes its harness make signal and brake-light installation clean, so conversion labour on these tends to be predictable. Confirm the parking brake actually holds before you book anything - on high-mileage DS carts it is the item most often quietly missing.

What it costs to register
The registration service is one flat fee, quoted for your cart, whatever the badge on it: filing, VIN assignment, title, registration and plate. If your Club Car needs equipment, parts and installation are quoted separately after we see photos. State fees are paid at cost and itemized upfront.
Before the badge matters, two limits do
A Florida Low Speed Vehicle runs above 20 mph and no more than 25 mph, with a gross vehicle weight under 3,000 lbs. Those two answers decide eligibility before any equipment question is worth asking, which is why our checker asks them first.
